Lol. She has made me a little humbler yes. Of course it is no secret that the Yeti thrives on attention and affection. While I get both from her, she is often the hardest to impress amongst all the people I know.

Pity.

Human I always was. And I still live in shorts.

THAT in the earlier post was a picture of me in a rich kurta churidar thingy, to complement her saree, because we were going to a wedding!
She fell in love with a guy in shorts and that's the guy she's gonna get, lol.

Cheers to the first couple of T-BHP

This thread has got me all senti and soft . I am a lousy writer but thanks to google and someone's creativity and skills my wishes are summed up in the following lines...Sam and The One

May you always feel as close as you do this day.
May your lives be graced with good health.
May you always find happiness in your home,
and may it be a refuge from the storms of life.
May your love grow ever stronger as you share
your lives together, and may your future be even
more wonderful than you dreamed possible

I just read through the YetiBlog, all 45 pages of it through the last 3 days (mostly in office time) and whoa what a story!!! I also remembered a love story between a fine german lass and a mumbaiya chokra during my B-School days.

a bit OT: I have quite a few German friends and I have been amazed by their knowledge about Indian culture in general. I thought the British knew more but the kind of things that I have heard from my German Friends about Indian culture has stumped me over. I was also pleasantly surprised when a very close German friend asked my wife to help her pick up a Saraswati idol for her sister who was appearing for O- levels equivalent.

Anyways great journey. Looking forward to the Latest development in the saga of the TheCouple(R)

Sam and Jenny

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful experience. I am more than a year late to read this thread but it still felt fresh and amazing. It never felt at any time that I am reading someone else's experiences. Felt like I had been there with you two (hope this not too much). And yeah Yetigyan on life has found a place on stickynotes in my office and its inspiring every reader. I am planning a holiday in India later this year and will live up it all.

I confess it took me three days to finish this thread and you wont believe in these three days I have't done a single thing at office but going thru your travelogue.

@Sam, You got a Fan... follower.....

@Sam,
it has been 'Sam Kapasi' week for me. work = On Hold, i have been reading your travelogues like mad. just couldn't resist skipping it. You have given me a Kerala Tour, An Europe Tour and a Tour of our 'Incredible India'. The pictures and your narration both complement and Compete with each other making it a very interesting read. I felt like another traveller, going around with you all. I somehow feel very close to you know, though i am a newbie at tbhp. Your writing has created such a bondage and i hope all bhp-ians will agree.

@TheOne
You Rock and you are super cool. Am real glad you stayed back for the 'whole movie. It was very interesting to see 'India' through you and you did a great job.

You Two make a lovely couple. I would really love to meet you all sometime.

God Bless.

lol thanks, I wrote it only so you could enjoy it.

But don't try to read it all in one day. This is Team-Bhp's most popular travelogue till date only because people read it a few pages at a time.

Thanks for your kind words.
