OK Arjun, keep rolling! Waiting for the videos & more pics, sounds like you had a ball in the 4x4!
Yup. It was good fun. That too with the existing steering niggle. In some streatches the steering was actually vibrating/shaking with excitement. The Tata guys will collect my car next week. I have already clocked 14,500 km and hence told them to do the 15K service while it is there. Will let you know what happens.

This is the link to the second video.

It was quite something out there. Even the drivers were scared to cross it. They said that we will cross it now, but if it continues to rain then the water level will go up and will be very difficult to cross back. He was true. It was hell coming back. While crossing the 8 gypsies created a big crater in a particular spot.

The engine had stopped. It had to be pulled out.

This was nothing compared to the one which had one of its wheel come off completely. The people were put in other vehicles and sent back.

Yup you are right from Corbett I took the Kaladungi route. After a certain point I was told to go back and take a diversion are there was a major landslide ahead. Then I took the diversion and went to Naukuchiatal via Haldwani and Bhimtal.

Oh so you missed driving up the Kaladunghi-Nainital road. It was amazingly well kept but prone to landslide.
