Hello Guys,
I am Back from a 6-day long touring in Karnataka and Goa!
This was supposed to be on the lines of the tour done by laluks
sometime back, but turned out to be different. The reason being,
nothung was planned for this trip, be it the accomodation, the route
to take, the places to visit and the way back.
It turned out to be much more enjoyable given the fact that the trip
took its own course depending on the condition of the roads, the
places to visit at this time of the year, the local info n all.
After the 6 day 1700 Kms run, i realise that we did quite a long
distance to call it a simple drive :P

Day1 - Bangalore - Sirsi
Day2 - Sirsi - Yana - Munjaguni Temple - Sirsi - Kumta - Karwar -
Panjim
Day3 - Panjim - Dona Paula - Meramaar beach Sunset - Panjim city
Day4 - Panjim - Agauda fort - Sinquerim - Morjim - Chapora river
Day 5 - Panjim - Ponda - NH4A - Londa - Supa Dam - Kali river Bison
Resort - Dandeli - Dharwad
Day 6 - Dharwad - Bangalore

Total distance - 1700 Kms
Background to this trip:
Got married in May. And then did a few trips and got my wife into a
mode where she expects a long drive every weekend now!!
Then, i had to go to Seattle on a business visit for 3 months. Even
when i was there, we had to stumble upon the Malnad trips which we
could do once i am back.
She got her Visa rejected for some "lack of doc" reason. And hence i
had to compensate with a foriegn holiday... looking at the Airfares,
we rather thought doing a week long drive into KArnataka-Goa makes
more sense (to us)....
And thats how we ended up doing this trip.
