Yes. Whats the matter? May be he got busy with his daily schedules. But is that a excuse

Also, I see all types of car in this log. Ikons, Indigos, Indicas, Alto, Zen, spark etc etc along with other muvs and suvs. Great.

Awesome journey coupled with lovely pictures...... way to go and waiting for the rest.

mjyoti: The machines can make it if the drivers can; proven by many Maruti 800's on the route.

Hey bro, one of these things gave me a real scare. My Esteem was stuck in the sand, and this guys elder brother was coming straight towards us. I asked my wife to go far away from the car, rolled up the windows and just sat there, praying I don't get thrown somewhere far away. Luckily, it broke away some distance from me and the car. Probably the scariest experience of my life.

Great Going guys, hats off to you.

I am planning it in first week of September, I need some help.

I hear that they close the Srinagar route post Gandhi Jayanti, is that true, If it is then we have to take the Manali route and is that a good road to leh.

Now the tricky one, I am planning to drive down in my Honda Civic automatic, do guys think I will make (why I am asking bcos of the ground clearance) if it is a no no then I will either go in a Hyundai Santro or Getz.

Thanks,

Thanks,
The Srinagar-Leh road gets closed down only it snows in Zoji La, which can be expected only by 2nd week of October.

Not only does Civic have low GC but also long wheelbase. Santro preferred any day.
