| Distinguished - BHPian   | Random Pics: '09 Singapore, KL and Genting *UPDATE* '10 Langkawi added Pg.2 onwards Here are some random pics i took on last week's Singapore and malaysia trip.The quality of pics is not that good as i clicked them using a basic point and shoot camera. Had to keep masks on at crowded places due to the H1N1 scare  Took a coach ride from singapore to KL,it takes around 5hours and costs S$30 for a super comfy ride.  this is the highway connecting singapore to KL,the max speedlimit is 110kmph  The new lancer expected soon in india looks stunning.      This place is KL  Souped up bling cars like this were a common sight in KL.  More pics coming... |

| Distinguished - BHPian  | Nice Pics Anshuman. I have always travelled the other way round by this coach that is from KL to Singapore since its not worth taking a flight from KL-Singapore as flying time is so short plus the hour you need to reach KLIA. Look forward to more pictures  |

| Distinguished - BHPian | This place is genting highlands,this place is less than 2hours from KL.Genting is a resort town it has several casinos,hotels and amusement parks.Cameras are not allowed in any of the casinos so no pics here.  Genting  KL  First world hotel lobby,this hotel has more than 6000rooms,its a 3star hotel,we got twin sharing rooms at INR2100.  Most hotels are interconnected and have hundreds of entertainment options,this place even had ripleys believe it or not museum.  Fortuner is a popular car in Malaysia though i did not see one in Singapore.  You get these kind of coaches from Singapore to KL,these are most 25seaters with fully reclining seats and airsuspension.  This 3+km ropeways is very fast and saves a lot of time reaching genting if you want to use the public transport.  Genting  Genting  |

| Distinguished - BHPian | Hotel Genting,This hotel has the best casino  Spotted this Taxi at KL airport  Funny  Petronas twin towers  KL  Metro station at KL  Malaysian roads are crowded with Proton and some other local cars,this being most popular.  Cabs in KL try to overcharge everytime  |

| Distinguished - BHPian |  Sonata is second popular taxi in singapore after the old toyota crowns.  Little india in Singapore is not worth visit.  This road is part of F1 track.  Ageing toyota crown is singapore's most popular taxi  Spotted this SBI atm in singapore  Kia,we tried every taxi available in singapore,we couldnt get Chrysler though.   9  10  |

| Distinguished - BHPian | Boat ride at singapore river is highly recommended  Shuttle service at Sentosa Island  Cab Gadgets  4  5  Mercs cabs are not much costier compared to crowns and sonatas  Upcoming Casinos in Singapore  Sentosa Island will be 100% ready by next year    |

| Distinguished - BHPian | I dont know what they call this 2wheeler but this thing was amazing,did ride on it at sentosa beach,this thing has unbelievable balance.  Saw this in our hotel's parking  These log rides at Sentosa are huge fun,we explored the limits of these ride,i even had a wheel in air in a corner. | Really nice pics. Reminds me of my visit to Malaysia/Singapore in March '08. Genting is a real beauty at night. Did you visit Lankavi? I couldn't coz of the time crunch. Will visit next time. Have a 2year visa stamp on my passport for Malaysia and Singapore.  |
