Malaysia Memoirs - A photologue

Till the time I compile all the photos from my trips to
1. Taman Negara - a national forest. It seems there is a Hindi reality TV show shot in this jungle currently on air.
2. Langkawi - twice
3. Penang
4. Genting - 6 times
5. Pangkor Islands
6. All across KL - well, I can be a guide or a taxi driver in KL give directions easily
7. Cyberjaya - for two years every working day
8. Putrajaya - twice
9. Kuching and Sarawak - I wanted to but lost the photos.

Till the time I compile all the photos, here are two of them to begin with.

The first photo is of KL Twin Tower closup showing the top portion.
The second photo, yours truly with a 220 KG python at Langkawi.

So, here are the photos.
I dont know how to add comment with each photo so am putting all the photos here.
1. Abdhul Samad Building - Old Govt building right at the heart of KL city
2. Merdeka Square - Malaysia flag is hoisted here every year at the independence day celebrations - 31st Aug - and parade is held at the road. The road between Merdeka square and Abdul Samad building is like our Rajpath in Delhi.
3. Brickfields - The Indian area. I thought it to be mini Chennai when I landed in KL; lound Tamil songs, Rajanikanth and Kamla Hassan full size photos; all south indian thali restaurants; flower shops; decorations and everything else one could find on busy Chennai streets. Just for the note - Dasavatharam starring Kamala Hassan was released in KL a day before it was released in India.
4. KL Sentral station - back side of this complex are 5 star hotels. This station is a hub where one can get all the trains and bus connectivity. Flight check-in facility is also available for MAS and SingAir passengers.
5. Public Bank Building - Right opp the twin towers. I liked the illumination of the building.

@ Ashish - I would sure like to go in flashback . Will wait for your PM.

Here are more photos.
6. Chinatown - Best place to find cheap (read fake) watches, shoes, t-shirts, and all travel equipments - backpacks, binoculors etc. etc. etc. Only one mantra here Bargain Hard. I went there with my colleagues and asked for watches - he started with 80 ringgits each and gave 12 watches for 125. So that would give you some hints.
7. Pudu Jail - WW2 era jail; where I was told Japanese soldiers kept Indian soldiers who were fighting for British India in Malaya region.
8. Putra Mall - One of the oldest malls in KL. Behind this mall is Legend Hotel; and the white building behind that was home for yours truly for almost two years.
9. Custom made car - parked outside Putra mall.
10. KL City skyline - on a typical rainy night.

I am compiling some more photos of Putrajay and Cyberjaya area. Probably tomorrow I will upload these.

Re: Malaysia Memoirs - A photologue

Wonderful photoblog of Malaysia, the vintage car parked partly on the footpath takes the cake.
