The animals should be quite used to people watching them.

For the lions, it looks like they are in a resort with food wandering around if they feel hungry.
it does look like that at times especially in ngorongoro as the population of the herbivores is quite high but the competition within the carnivores is equally fierce.especially b/w the the lions and the hyenas..

Great photos, if you could just add information about how your travel started with prices, it would be jolly good.

we travelled from manchester and then via heathrow (london) by kenyan airways to nairobi and then on a small plane to arusha in tanzania.ithink i have mentioned the prices before.

BTW is it just the pic or is that Land Rover dangerously close to the African elephant?

yup just a mock charge and then it did the same to our vehicle.:)

Lovely pics man!! Africa is one helluva beautiful place whether it is Serengeti or Masai Mara or Kruger National Park and many many more places.

Please google your memory and put a writeup and let us live the experience vicariously.
not too good at writing down i2m afraid so just enjoyy the photos.

Can you also please upload any videos you have from the trip. Oh btw, check out the 'Battle at Kruger' which is an amateur wildlife video.
have seen that video in NG TV as well.we just saw some lionesses stalking a wildebeest in terms of any action..otherwise it was pretty regular stuff..

You seems to have really slept with the animals or in other words, a glorious action filled night with animals

that is how a safari should be, just reading about it is exciting, i can imagine how the real experience would be.

thanks for sharing these details, can you post some details about the travel arranger, contact numbers (if you still have them) etc.

sleeping with the animals ..hmmmm let me see ...luckily none came too near although could hear them nearby..was not allowed to sleep by wifey as she was afraid that my snoring will bring the animals to our tent:):)

Ya, we need narration. Whats happening in the 041.jpg pics? Is that person hanging on something?
on a dandaa i guess:)
The 020.jpg reminds of the Kaadhala song from Avvai Sanmughi !!

This thread needs rating , definitely. Done!

Those are some amazing pics. A trip to S. Africa for the world cup, combined with a safari like this would have been so awesome, but never executed on that plan. I kick myself every time I see such beautiful pics of all these animals.
Thanks for sharing.

Man, you are getting too many warnings and edits from the mods. Please stick to the rules of the forum. We don't want to see a sudden end to this lovely thread.

Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing.
I liked the one where there is a long line of "safari" vehicles. :)

Amazing ones. They look great in wilderness.

Hey dude ! Please come back & complete the travelogue.

This is not fair! Eagerly waiting for the posts!
