It is as if the clouds emerged for you at the right moment to create a dark contrast against a white monastery. Awe-inspiring composition, colors, and clarity....the 3C's in all your photographs.

Lovely images & a very good composition. If you are looking at a 9 stop bw tonal range, bracket the images. I am sure you have tried them as some of the images appear bracketed :)

EXIF data won't really help Rajiv. Some are multiple capture.

More than bracketing I rely on EV setting. That keeps changing according to the situation.

AK, I cannot shoot B&W with my 1Ds Mark II. It's always a post job. However I plan for B&W well before shooting.
Metadata wont give much of clue. Basic
EXIF can be provided:
Speed 1/250. 50 ISO. f8. Focal length 105 mm.
On our way to TSO MORIRI.
Shot with 1Ds Mark II.

Hi Rudra, How was the light when you took this image, because I see the center area is brighter and srrounding is dark. Was it sport mettering or have you done some processing on image to look like that. Is it natural mountain color, behind the lake?
Old birdie, you sure know how to make all of us drool at your work. To say brilliant is an understatement, wait its way out of the world. Saw them in FB earlier and was hoping that you put up a post here someday.
I think it was a good idea to carry the S90 with you,at times it gets difficult to change lenses and shoot. I hate to say this, but then a P&S works better than a DSLR in situations where a quick shot needs to be taken.
