I was in Pondy at that time, onway to chennai, wanted some information.
Managed to find it using other sources.

Oh, was that you. I remember my wife telling me someone called. She did tell your name, but my mind did not correlate "name-with-handle". So, just left it. Time to save your number :)

Good you got help.

Btw, I was crossing Pondy on that saturday around 9am. I was on my way to chidambaram, Koothanur temples.

I have posted randomly...

Hi,

Did you notice a couple on a red Karizma on the way back (also in the restaurant across your table). Well that was me..

I had seen the tbhp sticker on your car only while leaving the restaurant. :) It was a nice day to be traveling except for the rains getting us wet..

Yes. I did notice you people. But again never knew you were tbhp member. About the rain part, it rained quite heavily and fortunately, for us (both families) we were in car and we could manage without getting wet.

Again, randomly posted...this contains one of the dam we visited while returning back near to Bagepally toll.

Oh, we did notice you both in the temple and the hotel. Never thought all are from the same forum. Small world.

Ya, it was raining heavily when we were returning. But it did help us by stopping many 2 wheelers from the road :D

Some more pics on the way to the temple.

Its very easy to spot the left turn now. Once you cross the toll, you will come across the RAXA Academy to your left.

keep driving straight, and get into service lane [preferred]. Couple of minutes and you will see this sign board

once you cross this restaurant, take the left to see this famous "land-mark"

And keep following the road until you see the Monolithic Nandi to your right.

You will get excellent roads for alternative KM. Not sure why so, the other alternative is "where-is-the-road" kind.

I have visited this place twice in 2 months. And i just love this temple. Its about 500 years old and the drive on NH7 is again very nice. I used to stay in North Bangalore then and i did this entire stretch one way in about 100 mins

Hmm, so doing justice to your handle lol:

Yes, the roads are excellent. Add to that the nature, very good and scenic view.

OT: We did see a new toll near the airport exit. So, when this comes to effect, all trips towards devanahalli is going to be not just expensive but also delayed. :Frustrati

Back to topic, some more pictures.

Trying to reach the roof. Oops, where is it?

Now the last photo takes the count to 13. Ahem. 12 Jothirlingam and 13th Jothi lingam. Good photos there mjothi.
But as a request, I urge you not to climb on those pillars. We don't know the worth of those pillars due to their antiquity and history surrounding those. It wouldn't be nice to set a bad example for other urchins and grown ups to follow such acts being a responsible person. Sorry about my rant, but I didn't see any photo of you clambering up any edifice in your european sojourn.
Remember, if we don't respect our legacy, no one will.
