Ambaji is a religious place. People from far off places come here to worship. But our stay in Ambaji was purely an economical decision. Hotel rates were ridiculously high in Mt. Abu. We did go to the temple later in the evening.

More Pics from Mt. Abu

View from the top most point of Rajasthan. Guru-Shikhar
(nothing great in the picture)

Walk in the wild.

Spot the croc, in Trevor Tank (weird name).

Hi, Nice TL you got here. Liked the pics. Covered almost the same route on a similar trip earlier last year. Waiting for more.

We were in Abu only during day time. It was nice bright and sunny. Freezing thing happened a couple of days after we left.

For me too the Trevor Tank was the high point. Thanks

@sami316: Thanks sam.

Re: Trip to Udaipur

Hi fi.robin, Nice pictures. I saw a silver Fabia with fluroscent green sticker on front bumper on 27 Dec in Udaipur but couldn't follow as I was on the other side of the road. Was it you? Didn't have any information about your programme, would have been really nice to meet you.

Thanks Tops.

Vapi onwards we were travelling in a silver Dzire. We had switched car here. I have C. Biege Fabia with hardly any mod/stickers. It will def. be the dirtiest car on the road

It would have been nice to meet you. I 'll keep in mind next time I visit Udaipur. Really liked the place. The narrow lanes in Chandpol was frieghtening at first but slowly it grew on me.

Simply Wonderful!

Seems that you have keen interest in Earth Science, most of the photographs show rock structures beautifully.

Ha ha

True but the pictures were taken by my wife. I am hopeless in photography.

Scared by the narrow lanes near Lake Pichola, we decided to walk to the City Palace.

Bridge on the Chandpol gate.

Re: Trip to Udaipur

Great pictures!

Nice to see the lakes filled up. During our visit in August '09, the rains had arrived late so the bed was visible in some lakes!

Where all did you visit in Udaipur? Looking at the narrow lanes and our hectic 1-week driving, we'd hired an auto and asked him to take us everywhere.
