@Thar4x4 - Brilliant way to start posting travelogues in T-Bhp! The two bulls are looking too good in the pictures. Hope you continue posting travelogues here more often. And all the best to your Leh trip.
@CliffHanger - The bull is built for the highways and it is at its best cruising in the highways. It is a bit difficult to handle in the city at first but this is not a problem once you get used to the bike. Also agreed that biking is riskier than travelling by car but the sense of freedom you get in riding is unparalleled. The risks you can cut down by proper planning and preventive riding. Just my opinion.

Not lonavala khndala, khandala ghat is after Shirval on NH 4 (Pune - Satara highway), the new one way tunnel. When you go towards satara you need to go through ghat and tunnel while coming back to Pune.

BTW, the ghat you are referring to has traditionally been called "Khambatki Ghat" and not "Khandala Ghat".

"Khandala Ghat" or "Borghat" is ghat between Khopoli-Khandala on NH4 which now shares road with MPE in that section.

Yes, you can call it Khambatki Ghar as well as Khandala Ghat, the name Khandala came from the village at the ghat starting.

BTW, I am from Satara and travelling on this path from last 30 years.
