^^ thanks mate!!!
No vit m for tyre upgrade, just upgraded to alloys :)
How i wish i could get rid of those "screaming rubbers" they do sound a lot. I did a BIG mistake by not upgrading the tyres as soon as I bought the car. But back then, I was well short of even alloys :(.
SO i have to live with these for sometime, quite sometime rather!
So your alloys are now here! Looking good too. Judging by the pattern, they will look even better when in motion. Congrats :)
On another note, i saw a red Figo on the road today & it looked stunning.
Talking about tyres reminded me that mine are due (rather over-due) for a change. Will post up here once done.
@anilsanil
Congratulations. Unique set of alloys you got there with all the twists and turns, just like your stories.
@Xehaust: I always wanted to ask your make of alloys wheels is different, where did you get those from?
@Khoj: Unique they are. Ever since I put them on I am biting my nails and closely watching the "Weird and Wacky mod jobs" thread. I hope they are too unique :D
Thanks both of you :P

Hi guys,
Just wanted to share the outcome of my OZ rims which were refurbished & repainted. Sorry, I forgot to remove the pics before they were painted so can't show you the comparison but there is a huge difference.
The rims are almost four years old and were Titanium Silver but had a lot of nicks and scratches thanks to Mumbai roads and had also lost their luster. The finish is definitely not like the original but I am extremely satisfied with the outcome.
Let me know what you guys think.
P.S. - I'm sure you guys have noticed the missing center caps but Ive kept them that way as I am waiting for a set of new caps which are on their way from OZ Italy. Ive attached a pic of them too.
I have posted their specifications before in this thread but doing it again for convenience
Rim Make & Model : OZ Racing Canova
Rim Size : 15" X 6.5" with 100 X 4 PCD
Offset : 43
Tires : Yokohama S-Drive 205/55/R15

Hi Rahul, Please Post a side profile of your car for better judgement. Looks eye catchy. If it is good then I'll get a tip for my yellow Lancer :)
Will post the detailed pics tomorrow for sure , Prince.Just got them fitted last evening and managed these couple of night shots. Is definitely an eye catching combo but was a little skeptical about the red colour. But after considering a couple of all matt black designs , finally went for this.
14 inch Veloce alloys on the Indica V2 Turbo DLG
tyres are Apollo Accelere 185/60/14
The combination helps fill the wheel arches better and contributes greatly to improved ride and handling.
@Shenoy - Great to see another black old school Verna on the forum. Those alloys look great :thumbs up
Will post mine in this thread after my tyre change. Am running 205/55 R15 but am thinking of going leaner to 195/55 R15. Any feedback on the same would be much appreciated.

Hey Shenoy, my feelings exactly, since I too own a black 2008 Verna (I won't call it old school:D) with alloys.
Just one question, if you upsized to something like 205, why choose A drives? Why not fancier rubber, like ES100s?
Nice upgrade, shankar.balan! The alloys really look great on the indica :)

Called it old school cause since this particular model, there have already been 2 revisions to the car. Hence, ours is now old school :D
(We are driving the original Verna which was the one when the car first launched).
Shenoy has upsized to 195, im running 205. The ES100s are old hat now & discontinued since quite a while back. But yes, will definately be looking at S Drives or CPC2s for my tyre change. Guess Shenoy choose A Drives as he wanted comfort perhaps.
