So far so good. I have done 1000 KMS on these tyres and finding them very silent, having grip levels slightly better than XM2 and the ride comfort excellent. Unlike the A-drives, it does not pick up small stones in its grooves. Will have to see how it fares in the long term.
My XM2 lasted for 55K on the odo through a mix of good and very bad roads with just 2 punctures. On similar routes, my A drives lasted 38 K with many punctures and became noisier post 10K Kms.

Guys has anyone comment on comparison between Yokohama BluEarth and Earth-1 tires. Which is superior and why. Please comment if possible.
I am looking for 185/60 R15.

Earth-1 is made in India tires, it's good for long life. BluEarth is imported (Philippines). This is more performance oriented compared to Earth-1. The price difference is negligible and I would recommend BluEarth over Earth-1 any day.

Does that also mean Blu-Earth could be a softer compound tire which might be more prone to punctures/sidewall issues and generally might get lesser mileage from it. Also BluEarth is newer in Indian market so very less number of real life usage experience in India about it. Is it worth the risk. Have you or know anyone who has been using it on a long term basis. Thanks for the response!

The sidewall is not soft. I am using these tires in my Baleno. No issues on bad roads till date.

Not really a new tyre, been in Indian market for almost 2 years.

Nice, never knew about Made in Japan :). I have seen them in 3 Sizes and all were made in Philippines.

Thanks for the feedback. I did ask for bluearth but availability is a concern. Also need to check warranty terms.

The tread pattern of earth 1 and bluearth is very different. I read somewhere that bluearth is designed to ensure minimum air resistance and minimum rolling resistance also to avoid maximum possible road noise. The tread buttons are designed in such a way it seems. But visually the tread pattern looks like designed specifically for good condition road usage. The earth 1s tread has wider gaps whereas bluearths tread is more closely positioned. I have a feeling earth 1 would offer better grip in a wide variety of road conditions whereas bluearth would offer good grip in good roads and lesser rolling resistance and road noise. Any thoughts?

Latest update for me after driving 10K with BluEarth. I did notice side wall bulge in one of the tyres. Yokohama dealer blamed the driver by claiming to hit a pothole in high speed causing tear of inner lining. However as there is 5 years warranty the same been replaced the same by paying 35% cost of a new tyre.

I can't give a proper feedback or comparison because I have used MC5's in S-Cross and Bluearth in Baleno. Overall grip should be better with MC5. Wet grip is decent with Bluearth, much better than Alanc 4G in Baleno.
I got blue earth (made in philipines) for my verna. Apparently only some specific sizes are from japan. Cost per tyre Rs7100/-. Got third week of march 2019 manufactured ones.
Ride quality is soft just like michelin.
Got them from ACME TYRE SERVICE GOREGAON.
I have been quoted Rs. 4500 per tyre for Yokohama BluEarth for my Swift in 185/70/R14 size and 4300 per tyre for Earth 1.
Which one should I go for? For me, reliability, i.e. strong side walls is a must followed by comfort and road noise.
Can existing BluEarth owners share their reviews. Thanks.
Edit: Forgot to mention that the above rates includes Balancing/Alignment (except the weights).

BluEarth is much better than Earth 1 when it comes to comfort, noise and performance. The sidewall is not soft, but it might not be as stiff as Earth 1 as they are made in India for Indian roads. Overall, I consider BluEarth as a better tyre :).
My experience of driving with Blue Earth for 10k kms is that:
a) It is very comfortable.
b) Road noise is lesser than XM2 and almost on par with Primacy LC.
C) Driven on a lot of bad roads and touch wood, it's holding good.
d) Rolling resistance is less and grip is on par with the XM2 only and not the Primacy 3ST. Earth 1 may be grippier for Indian roads as Naren mentions.
e) Tyre is real VFM and better choice than Earth 1, even though its yet to be tested from the mileage front
