Has such a high increase in overall diameter not affected ride comfort adversely? Any other drawbacks I should be on the look out for?

2017 Corolla Altis VL at.
Need 4 new tires
205/55 R16 set is 32,000 (stock)
205/60 R16 is 24,000

I have been wanting to go up a size, seems like a really good time. Both sizes are goodyear triplemax tires.

The wheel arch on the Corolla is much bigger than the tire also, but I'm still wondering if the upgrade is going to fit right?.

Looking for suggestions

2014 Corolla altis petrol 1.8G
In search of new tyres for my corolla, presently having Michelin XM2 195/65 R15 91V had good experience with this one they have done there duties for 5 years now & it’s time to replace with new XM2.

Was searching XM2 on Michelin site this sizes are not available at the moment. Earlier it was Bridgestone Turanza those sets of tyre’s came as stock and clicked almost 32k kilometers.

As XM2 are not available shall I go back on stock one that is with the Bridgestone.

Went through previous comments suggestion of going for 205/65R15 just wanted to know is there any effect on the fuel economy and what about the cabin noise.

2003 Corolla came with 195/60 R15 stock. I had upsized from 195/60 R15 to 205/65 R15 on my 2003 Corolla few years back, the ODO difference is more than 4% which is not ideal, but nothing has gone wrong since 7 years, but I have a feeling that the bigger tyres have taken a toll on my suspension, its making all kind of noises. My current tyres are Falken Azenis. Guys please guide, if the bigger tyres being heavy damage the suspension prematurely? The ride comfort is supreme with the 65 profile and now I am confused if I should go for 205/65 R15 or 195/65 R15. Are there soft compound and light weight 205/65 R15 tyres? I prefer to retain this size, as its very comfortable.

Correct upsize will be 195/65R15 or 205/60R15
