I'd also go for the 5-spoke designs to be the most sporty in appearance IMO. Back in 2010, when our family wanted to buy an SX4, my biggest crush was the 5-spoke alloys it had on them.

But then, they changed it to a much sober 10-spoke design, when we bought one. These would look sporty with the optional body-kit (which we didn't opt for due to suspected reduction in GC), but otherwise quite bland.

Like paint , I believe that certain wheel designs fit certain cars but if I had to pick one I would go for the Volk Racing TE37 series of 6 spoke wheels with my personal favourite being the TE37 Sonic SL with the red accents.

These are one of the few wheel designs that would go with any car. From a Mazda MX-5 to a Ferrari F458 Italia, the Volk TE37's look right at home on every car.

Over 20 manufacturers offered these wheels as an option on their vehicles. I am talking about the BBS RS wheels. BBS is one of the biggest manufacturers for wheels and RS is one of the largest selling wheels in the world. Its hard to put these wheels on a car and not make it look exquisite. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking lol:

Accompanying all the stunning beauties above, here is my favourite:

The alloys of the Alfa Romeo 156. Very unique design and being an Alfa, makes it that much more special.

On a lighter note, when I first saw the modern fidget spinner, I thought they had copied it from this baby rl:.

IMO one of the best Alloy design was of a Fiat Palio 1.6GTX. This was a very smart and sporty looking design.

Some Deep Offset Watanabe wheels for me please!

They look absolutely gorgeous on JDM classics, but they also look fabulous on Retro 911s

I don’t know if this could be added in the list, Because it’s a concept car. This used to be my favourite car in Need For Speed computer game.
It’s Italdesign Scighera by Alfa Romeo

If you see all the alloy wheels designs above you’ll see a similarity in all of them, which is I like the spokes which are tilted and angled
They look smashing when the car is on move!

The MOMOs I had on my 3rd gen Honda City!!

My absolute favourite alloy design at the moment has to be the multispoke one on the current S Class, which I view as an evolution of the older optional 20 incher wheels on AMG models (which used to be my prior favourite.

Another one of my favourites, though not particularly a more popular opinion, is the first generation Innova Crysta's 17 inch wheels. I really like the design, and I think it suits the car really well.

You get them in HRE. I have 17 inches of the same design, in matt black.

This is my personal favorite

Wheels genuinely enhance the look of any car and in many cases make the appearance more special.
My favourite OEM designs are those found on AMGs and Lamborghinis. Don’t get me started on the Pagani designs. Especially the AMG SLR, AMG GTR, Aventador and Zonda/Huayra.
Conversely in India the standard wheels on some Mercs and BMWs which cost crores are downright bland and need a rethink at that price point.
In India I like the fact that some manufacturers like BMW are now offering blacked out wheels in uprated sizes on some special editions. The 20” wheels on my recently purchased X4 Black Shadow Edition (attached below) are truly stunning and make the stealthy look of the car and augment the beautiful Brooklyn Grey colour.

Hello Friends,

I love the new alloys of the 2022 (Facelifted) XL6, I had the 2010 BS4 Sx4 with 10 spokes but the killer so far is the XL6.

Thank you.

The Fiesta 1.6S had different alloys than rest of the Fiesta range and this was one of my buying points during that time (in 2009).

I love clean, uncluttered designs.

My all time favourite are the alloys from the MK1 Octavia vRS and the OZ racing alloys from the Cedia Sports, elegant and sporty at the same time.
