i really like the potenza g 3 s what wrong with them?
Either ways the g 3 s are now out of production , so are the es 100 s which i dont like at all ! the S drives have replaced the es 100 s.
not sure about the price though it would be great to save up some more man , sorry : ] .
The Yoko ES 100s are out of production? then what about all the ads i see in the Auto magazines even this month? Anyway, how much do the S-drives in 195/60-14 cost? How good are they? Are they "comfort" tyres or 'Sport" tyres offering more grip?
What other options do I have in the budget of say, Rs 3000- 3,500 for good, grippy tyres in the size above? Michelin Energy XM?
Hey anybody can tell me where in Kolkata do i go to shop for tyres- Yokohama/Michelin/ GoodYear/ Apollo??

i say OLD stock ask a dealer yourself though.
I mentioned this a LONG TIME AGO! That the ES 100's were outta production.. find a batch code that reads 08' man, that would be impossible
Very true Nitroxxx. They were not even featured in the 2007 catalog,so it's obvious 2006 would have been the last production year.
just checked from sources:
ES100 are stil very much in production, saw a nov 07 tyre.
60 profile performace tyres are available in ES100 AND 55 AND BELOW ARE IN S. DRIVES.

@Puff - you could speak to Minku Agarwal of Indo Radial Club. The shop is in the Bhowanipore area, bang opposite the new Homeland Mall. Mention you've been referred by the Kolkata T-BHP group. He should know Mr.Das (Shuvd) and Abhishek (Razor). Most of us get our wheels from him.

If I am not wrong. Both Yoko S-Drive and Apolo Accelare come in 185/55/13. I am not sure about the prices but I am guessing that Yoko cost is around 2400 (I was given this price at Auto Expo at Yoko instal) and Apolo is around 2300, which one would you pick up for Indica V2 (Non turbo)
I'm pretty sure that the S-Drives are not available in the size you mentioned Anonymous.
Thanks, dude. Thanks a lot, indeed. I appreciate it.

Kya baat ker rahe ho. lol:
Are they available in 185/60-13 in both? May be I don't remember it exactly.
I just called up the Yokohama Head Office at Delhi Tel No- 01166099559 (got the number from an ad in the latest Autocar India). Spoke to someone called Sanjay. Helpful fellow. He says that the ES 100s are very much in production. I'd get tyres produced at the most a few months old and would cost Rs 2,700 at his end.
Of course, he can't sell them directly and the dealers will mark up the prices a bit at their end.
I was trying to get him to send the tyres to some dealer around here in Bengal/ Sikkim but it's difficult. :Frustrati No Yokohama dealers in Kolkata. So I'm told by the Indo Radial Club guys at Kolkata.
Lucky U guys at Delhi..

I suppose you spoke to Sanjay Chauhan. As for the dealers yes, Yoko has no presence in the Eastern part of India as of now.
