saw this in ebay
eBay India: QUICK FIX TYRE INFLATOR, ABRO U.S.A (item 110253459041 end time 23-May-2008 19:09:07 IST)

it says "Seals & Inflates most flat tyres within one minute."

has anyone tried anything like this?

The sealing part I understand - looks like a standard tubeless tyre kit. Not sure how it inflates the tyre.

the sealant in it is pressurised. thus on pressing the knob it works like any aerosol can and thus inflates tyre.
Motul and GULF have this too. costing around 325-350 used it once in an emergency (rohtang pass) worked fine. BUT after usuage of this the tube cannot be repaired. But i guess in case of tubed tyres not many other options.
What i highly recommend is "SLIME", it lasts long and is preventive rather then post disaster(puncture) action.

Can we have more details on this - "SLIME"?

I bought a similar can from Halfords in UK and it was mentioned that it's only for tubeless tyres.

I have ordered slime. Will fill it in once I get the tires changed.
I understand there will be some vibrations issue above 100-110kmph, but since my cruising speed is usually around 90kmph, the peace of mind for leh trip will be well worth it!

IMHO, new tyres & air compressor & tubeless puncture repair kit are peace of mind enough:).....I would not knowingly go for something that will cause vibrations at high speeds.

agree: Would recommend that this is not done especially for high speed runs. But, I think for trecharous terrain it is well worth it.

I took feedback from sideways who uses this in his cars. Only around 105-110 band there are slight vibrations, other than that no issues at all.
I once tried to repair a tubless puncture. Its definitely not as easy as it looks!

have even heard to the contrary. The stuff distributes itself out and after a little distance, say 15 km or so acts as a balancer!

Thanks will find out and try it. Knew about the product but have not tried it yet. I think I can still put it even though tires are not new.

Can this Slime thing used on normal tyres as well? I mean Bridgestone S322 tyres as I do a lot of highway driving and always fear of my tyre getting punctured?

Slime can be used on all tubeless tires.
Steps to follow
1. Balance tire
2. Remove valve
3. Put in Slime
4. Put in valve, and re-inflate
