TATA Indica XETA wheel size

Hi all,

Can some Indica XETA owners confirm the wheel size?
Is it 13 x 4.5J?

I am looking to get some nice looking alloys, and was considering Neo. However, if 13 x 4.5J is in fact the correct wheel size, Neo has nothing in this size.

I don't like the designs that Aura offers. What are my choices here?

Thanks

If am not wrong the stock wheel size of XETA is 13" x 4.5J with Tyre size being 165 65R13. Why dont you try other designs from HR, League, Lenso and Plati will be having many designs. Any specific reason for going for Neo and Aura apart from them being Indian companies offering warranty, they dont have designs as others.

Hi VJ,

No real reason for wanting Neo alloys. Besides the fact that they are an Indian company, they offer good designs along with a warranty. But since you confirmed the stock wheel size as 13" x 4.5J, I guess Neo's out the window.

How much would a set of 4 wheels from HR, League, Plati or Lenso cost me? Do any of these companies have a site?

Thanks

IIRC, Indica petrols with 1.4L engine have a 14 inch wheels, with those with 1.2 L engines have 13 inch wheels. So, older petrol indicas, and Highest variant of the present Xeta have 14 inch wheels.

No, the Indica petrols never came with 14" wheels. Only the Indigo petrols did.

All variants of the current Indica XETA (including the 1.4L GLX) are equipped with 165/65 R 13's.

I stand corrected.

I had done some extensive research on the Indica Xeta before finally settling for WagonR, and had read somewhere that higher versions had 14 inchers. I automatically concluded that 1.2 lt. engined ones alone came with 13inch tyres. Looks like i goofed up. Apologies.

In my effort to find out what gave me the wrong impression, I stumbled acrosss another thread on this subject, and there too, only pointer is towards aura.

Hi luvjascha, the petrol and NA diesel Indica's have got the 108 PCD bolts on the axle, and you would find fewer options in the alloy market. I got the Plati brand 2 weeks back, and a set of 4 wheels cost me Rs.11,000/- in M'lore. You would definetely find better bargains in Mumbai, though.

What brands were you considering, before you settled for the Plati's?
Were they your only option?

Full marks for guessing it right . Plati was the only brand, and the ones i purchased were the only ones available for Indica. I had an inclination towards Aura (as it's the OEM brand for Tata), but was told that it's quite expensive. Hope you find good ones for choice.

Did you look at League, HR and Prestige?

Are you saying that Plati has just ONE standard design in 108 PCD's? Would it be possible to describe the design? Is it 5-spoke?
Pictures would be even better!

4 wheels from these alloy companies range from 13K upwards depending on the design. Plati and Lenso might cost you a bit more than the others

the websites are

Title

and this thread might be of help regarding Lenso Wheels

Not sure about other websites and maybe someone else might be able to help. A refined Google search might help retrieve the catalo for these alloy manufacturers.

Hey VJ,

Lenso's are a little expensive compared to HR, League, Prestige and Plati.
Would you know the sites for these brands?

Thanks
