Team-BHP - 175/65 R15 Tyres on Lenso D08 Black 7J Alloys

I am planning to fit the stock tires of ANHC on 15" 7J alloy wheels. Kindly advice me if that can be done? What will be the consequence?

As per my knowledge, I have noted that the max width of alloy wheels is 6.5in on which the size of 175/65 R 15 can be mounted.

I have already ordered the alloy wheels and then realized that the width is a little too "wide". Other option is to up size to 195/60 R15, but as my wife is driving the car on the regular basis, more focus is on comfort rather than flat out performance.

Also, those who have already done the up size (Mostly Michelin Primacy), please provide feedback regarding the comfort factor of the tire and fuel efficiency.

Thanks Akshay. I think you are right. Let me check if my tire installer can give me a day with 195/60 R15 tires and then decide. Hope the ride comfort remains the same.

i think the city comes with jks or acceleres? on the contrary the ride could improve depending on your tyre selection.

It comes with Michelin or MRF. Though someone on the forum said Goodyear is also there. However, nost of the Citys come with Michelin or MRF.

Bhavit --- Please upsize to 195/60 R15 Primacy Lc. Supreme comfort. Also, since 195/60 R14 has a higher sidewall, it will improve your ride comfort as well. And the tyre(Primacy LC) will improve it even more.

It is not safe to run 175/65 R15 on 7j alloys.

It is advisable that you do the upsize. And there will be hardly any difference in the ride if u shift from 175/65 to 195/60.
My friend's running a similar setrup on his ANHC. No problem whatsoever.
His car came shod with Michelin.

Nope. The Primacy LC starts only at 15".

For your car, I would recommend the 195/60 R14 Conti CPC2. Only because it's a powerful car and needs more grip than what the XM1+ and ER60s and ?Yoko A Drives can offer.

I have a Palio S10, and have upsized the tire to 185/60 R 14, I recommend you go in for a softer compond tire. I had gone in for Michelin Pilot Precedas and the ride quality is bad, though the grip has increased.

Bhavit --- The PP2 is one of the best tyres I can recommend for a Palio 1.6! Does justice to the car! Ride quality is bad, but I think it's a small price to pay for the kind of road grip in dry and wet you get.

CPC2 is a soft compound tyre. Almost all imported tyres are soft compound. It will last about 40-45k kms.

For your ANHC since it will be driven by your wife, I'm recommending the Primacy LC. It's a comfort tyre with almost no tyre noise. For Seeler Rebeiro, I recommend the CPC2 as the car needs a grippy tyre.
