Re: Experience of driving Left-Hand-Drive cars on Indian roads I have a LHD BMW E36 and that is the only LHD i have ever driven in India. LHD is definitely a different yet better experience if you are a right handed person.
Since my car is equipped with Auto Transmission , I could concentrate on the steering and handling completely even from the first time I drove and maybe that is also the reason , I never felt any difficulty in driving it even through high traffic.
However , on toll gates , it's hard if you don't have a co-driver .! You have to be patient during the learning process when you get used to sit on the side portion of the road rather than the centre portion. |
