That's quite a line up of Mercs.

Nice to see a Ponton with a Webasto sliding top and a rare W123 on a LWB chassis. These are pretty sought after in the US among collector of Merc 'variants'.

I think the W115 (the 220D) which otherwise looks great from the rear, has the wrong tail lamps, easily replaceable with the so much better looking correct pieces. The SLC- such an elegant car.

I agree with above - there is very little of Indian history or heritage in the collection.

No Sir, no Jeeps in the collection currently.

Going by the cars in his collection, he is clearly a Merc fan. I wish he had one of those mean looking 1980's G-Wagon's in his collection too, or maybe an Unimog !!

Great place to be! Such amazing cars to be spotted at one place is just awesome. Some nice photography to go with it. Thank you for sharing what you witnessed. Great vintage collection I must say. I cannot imagine the amount of money that goes into restoring and maintaining these cars

It indeed takes plenty of money and time. I fondly remember the Ranchi vintage car collector who has taste in his cars and enough of time too but since so much money is involved in restorations, he takes every project in due course of time. By then his other cars gets neglected. He has close to 35 vintages in his collection of which only 6-7 are well restored.

Not shifted, some of the cars from this collection were at display at Phoenix Mall, Pune over the weekend.

I have a few pics of the cars that were on display at Phoenix Mall, I will upload the pics in sometime.
