Jens Jacob, a German entrepreneur set out on a journey across the world to explore different cultures and traditions. The journey, which began five year ago, is being undertaken in his 1965 Volkswagen Kombi Type 2, nicknamed 'Bluee'. The van, which is close to 50 year old, is equipped with a small kitchen, a water tank, spares, tools and some books.

At the start of the journey, Jens was alone, but now he has his wife Cynthia, whom he met in Dubai, as his travel companion. The duo have travelled over 26 countries including The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Dubai, Oman and Iran, covering more than 60,000km,. They are now in India.

The India leg of their journey began in Mumbai and will continue along coastal roads in the country, until the couple finally leaves for Nepal and Tibet, via West Bengal, and then on to Indonesia, via Vietnam.

If you're referring to the pictures, its the Horniman Circle area of South Mumbai. Lots of old buildings around. Its a good place to shoot... if you can avoid the crowd .
