The Vintage and Classic Car Club of India (VCCCI) is conducting the annual vintage and classic car and bike rally in Pune on the 2nd and 3rd of April next month. The venue continues to be the Radisson hotel in Kharadi. Judging will take place on Saturday, the 2nd, and the drive will be on Sunday the 3rd.

The event promises to be great fun, weather nonwithstanding, and the only chance in the year that the Pune cars and bikes come out for all to see. An art competition is also planned, where local artists will be painting the vintage cars and bikes on display.

Another great initiative was inviting budding artists to paint the cars and auction their work to fund their school. Hopefully some other members will share more, I don't have any photos or details.

And in conclusion, a promise was made to hold next years event in the first week of February, which was music to my ears

Great to see the dark blue 190b Ponton in it's freshly restored form. The owner spent a lot of time carefully doing up the car and took a lot of trouble to bring it back to its former glory which is truly commendable
