Thanks for sharing all these photos. For sheer beauty and regalness nothing to beat the Mercedes of the 20th cenury. Each a masterpiece to drool over. Which car type are numbers 5183 and 3884. They look like cars for a Prime Minister or President.

That is the W186 Mercedes 300. Informally, they were known as the 300 "Adenauer", popularly used by Chancellor Konrad Adenauer

Attended this, was so much fun and the collection of cars simply superb. Unlike the other Germans, Mercedes has a long and cherished history of making premium coupes, convertibles and sedans.

A question to the car nerds,what is the difference between the 300 SL here and the gullwing
?

Thanks for the wonderful coverage. Mercedes was & remains my all-time favourite marque. So many well kept & tended Merc's was a treat.

My favourite model is the SL Pagoda. I noticed there were a couple of them. Some very discerning collector must own them. Thanks again for the coverage.

The 300SL here is a roadster, and it attended this year with the hard top roof on. The Coupe version of the 300SL has the Gullwing doors, hence the name.
