Sorry to ask, stupid: but .... what is a concourse condition? please:
simply put, condition of the car when it was originally produced in the factory except for the odometer reading
concours without the "e"

I had misspelt the word, it should have been ''CONCOURS''
It loosely means fit to participate in a Concours D''elegance show.
basically a car which has been restored to factory specifications with genuine parts and fittings.

Hi guys!
"Concours" and "show room condition" (src) are two different things. In fact concours cars became better than factory original, caused a lot of dilema at major events like Pebble Beach. In simple terms src means exactly that, like new and not dolled up. Concours cars are very often dolled up, fitted with too many accesories, and have a finish which the original manufacturer was not even capable of. Note the difference?:D
Personally, my take is not to make concours cars, it is a lot cheaper not to restore to concours.:uncontrol
Cheers harit

agree: i think it is a french word.
It is French. If I remember right, concours d'elegance loosely translates to 'a gathering of elegance' - when the most elegant and fashionable cars would get together for a show. This was not always only for old cars, even brand new cars would be a part. Today it is common to say concours condition, implying the car should be eligible to participate in the highest pedigree of shows, or, for us laymen, in perfect condition. Let's get back on topic now :)

however note that you will find only expensive cars on the net
these ads have been put up by people who know their cars worth
I am saying this from my own personal experience
if you are really keen on buying classics, you gotta hit the road and be in touch with small time garages and insurance valuators, they have a ton of knowledge
