To mark the occasion, Tata took back the first TMB truck from its owner Sardar Kartar Singh who was handed over the 1,00,000th TMB truck in exchange! The first TMB truck was then put on display in the museum at Telco Pune plant. I believe it is still on display there.

Around 15 years ago I did see these 2 trucks in the plant on display, but they are local Pune trucks, slightly later models.

Lucky you! Is the museum open to public? Would love to visit!
The truck on the right hand side is older but it's obviously not the first TMB truck which was made in 1954. The plaque beside the truck mentions its year of manufacture as 1957. Wonder what happened to "that" truck.

The blue truck has a single piece windshield. I don't think that was common back then. Maybe an artifact of restoring the model?

That's because it's the older model. The plaque clearly mentions it as 1957 model. Twin windshield resulted from Tata's Indianization of the Mercedes truck in 1960s.
Spotted this Truck at the vintage car fiesta held in Mumbai.
Don't know the make and model of the truck.
Spotted this Behemoth a few days ago. Seemed to be a missile carrier and was left hand drive. Going by the number plate, this is from 1976. No idea about make and model though.
Looks Like ZIL 131 6x6, few left in service AFAIK.
