This bus body (2nd pic) is so low-slung, they must have had pretty good roads in those days for such a bus to be able to successfully navigate them. And no speedbreakers either.
Else it'd for sure scrape the bottom and the bottom sides wouldn't be as good/uniform as seen in the pic.
