Some of the cars seen in Half Ticket
An early MG (P series?) which later morphs into another car with a distinguishing stripe along the side, which we also saw in 'Dhool ka phool' |
The same MG makes an appearance in 'Parvarish' - I assume a TC, and not an earlier car?
Seen in the movie 'Shareef Badmaash'
The 1958 Chevy Impala convertible makes a repeat appearance after Nirmaan, Parichay and Yaadon ki Baaraat
A 1962 Chevy Biscayne and 1956 Dodge Kingsway - both station wagons
The Dodge briefly morphs into a Plymouth
I'm unsure about this fintail - a Ford maybe?
An unusual Pontiac station wagon seen in Gehra Raaz
Some cars seen in Rocky Mera Naam
A dual tone Austin Cambridge
This Amby was also seen in Dhamkee
This Jeep we have seen in at least 5 movies so far.
Sheikh Mukhtar starrer 'Spy in Goa'
One of the
filmy Packards makes an appearance
I cannot identify this car, but note it is a taxi, written in a yellow patch on the door, as was the norm in Goa at the time.
Some cars seen in 'Dharkan'
A 1966 Chevy
A VW Split bus
A Mark 2 Amby taxi that we also saw in Amar Akbar Anthony
A Honda bike

The taxi somehow looks very Lenin-sky to me. A ca 1962 Volga GAZ-21 is attached.....though not quite the same.
While the movie Munimji has been posted before, here is some deeper discussion.
I feel there are atleast 3 MG TCs used in the movie
Car 1
Car 2
and Car 3
On closer inspection car 3 matches Madan Mohan's personal car posted earlier, and he has made an appearance in the movie as well. Note he is wearing the same outfit as in the movie here, probably shot on set. Now that we know the number was BMX 8337 I hope it doesn't get magically recreated :D
Two Chevy Styline Deluxes are seen - with and without the shikaar light mounted high up (which was Dev Anand's personal car seen in Taxi Driver and Nau Do Gyarah).
An unidentified vintage Tourer
A 1947/48 Chrysler - don't miss the 4 bumper guards
A Dodge woodie bus seen in the back.
From the 1942 film 'Roti'
A Packard Limousine, still on older series N plates
An Oldsmobile perhaps?
A 1930s Chevy station wagon
The 1949/50 Chevy Styline convertible we saw in 'Albela' with Bhagwan Dada makes an appearance once more in 'Damad'
A Sunbeam Talbot saloon and a large American woodie are seen in 'Jawab'
In the 1938 movie Nirmala, we see an Adler Trumpf convertible, still on the old registration number systems.
In the movie 'Jhoola'
We see a very handsome 1933 (?) Studebaker convertible sedan
A 1920s taxi, note the large meter mounted outside.
Some cars seen in 'Anjaan'
A 1954 Plymouth and a 1954 Dodge convertible are seen. The Dodge was also seen in 'Hum sab Chor hai'
Note the single sempahore on the passenger side - a common accessory at the time for LHD cars.
A 1947/48 DeSoto Fluid Drive
A Police Jeep previously seen in 'Do Ustaad' and 'Meenar'
The Plymouth is seen here on the Bombay Poona highway. Just last year part of this famous Amrutanjan bridge was demolished.
