Great pics, thanks.

As for down-sizing photos (if youre on windows XP) the easiest way to do it is "Option 1" in post #4 here : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/announ...-team-bhp.html

Also, please do get your caps lock key fixed

Rehaan,

Thanks for all the support.
I changed my note book to a Macbook which has been a little change to relearn, one of the members here is using the macs and has given me some good advise yet to be implemented.

Will try later once i have the proper photo programs installed.

You seem to be a Studebaker Fan, any cars in your stable?
I had a 1963 hard top, two 1964 coupes & and my favorite vintage car, 1932 Studebaker Rockne roadster. Check out my intro for some great photos.

Cheers

Dear Mr. John,

These are lovely pics you have posted. I see that you also got the BHP bug. It is so nice when such posts come in, always something new.
But this Merc Roadster is a modified car, not completely original. This was a Mumbai car, Parsee owned, very original. But the lines have been subtly altered, to give a grander appearance reminiceant of the grand 500 or 540K models. This was done in Mumbai, sad to see this nice roadster so spoilt. By the way, over the years Mumbai had 6 such roadsters, now only 3 are known to me.
On link 3 there is a green Standard, what is that blue car behind? Looks interesting.
Cheers

Sorry Harit, I saw this post and thought of replying but forgot all about it. And now it's taken me a bit of searching through the archives to get here. Okay, the blue car is a Willys Knight, 1928 or '29 I think.

Strangely when I first saw this car at the Auto Expo just this thought came to my mind that this car seems unnatural. As I have no knowledge of Mercs I didn't know for sure. Glad to discover I have a keen eye for originals

I had the same feeling when I first saw the Wolsely in Hyderabad being passed off as a rumble seat coupe. Manvendra Singh clarified it too was altered
