Before I return to Toronto I am trying to introduce some of the other Enthusiasts here in Calcutta and hope that others will add to these threads with photos and comments.

For reference I have established three categories;

1. A "Restorer/Collector", It's their business and a passion.
ie. Sanjay Ghosh, P.K Chowdhury.
2. A "Collector/Restorer, It's their passion and they have their own works.
ie. Partha Bose, Shashi Kanoria, Gautam Mukherjee.
3. A Collector who does not restore himself.
ie. Myself.


Partha has put together an exceptional collection of cars. He has done most of the restoration work at home works up until a few years ago. He's a very strong competitor at the Statesman having won many Trophies over the years.

Here are few of my photos to start off this thread taken at the Tolly Car Show,and I hope more photos and a history of his great cars will be posted. Partha has built a fine looking garage down his driveway with big windows to look in.

beautiful photos friend. I liked the RE 1929 with gridder fork. spell bounding...truly would have enjoyed some great rides on those vintages

In your post No. 3, in the background of the SS Jag side profile shot there is is back and cream Bentley to be seen.

Could you post some snaps and details of this car ?

Open the thread on the Calcutta Tolly Car Show and you should be able to see the Bentley.

Mr. Bose's son, Debarshi, happens to be a good friend and a nice guy. He is eager to show around his collection to anyone who will pay him a visit.

Mr. Bose also owns a Ford Model T and a pre-war Fiat convertible. The pics are in Ritayan's thread.

That Bentley was restored by my father and is also mentioned in that particular thread with some pictures. Do have a look
