Which Vehicle for Customised Luxurious Interiors?

Dear All,

I own a few cars - a beamer 320, a safari, a duster, a honda city and an indica - different cars for different purposes!

Well, now I am contemplating another one - but this time a totally customized version and that's where i need your help - and that too from scratch. Lemme try and describe what I am wanting.

I want to buy and customize a vehicle - a muv/suv/or something like a Winger that is not very pricey (beween some 10-15 lakhs) and then spend some equal money (total budget around 25-35 lakhs inclusive of the car cost) and get it customized to have a luxurious inside (nothing over the top) with sofa seating for 4, a minibar, TV, and whatever else can fit it. The exteriors shall also get some facelift.

Simple question - Which vehicle will be good for it? Innova? And where can i get this done. I live in Delhi!

rgds,
Arun

Take a look at the AGM Technologies Noida's Innova, Winger and MB100 Van.

The DC lounge for various cars... While the DC exteriors are whacky, the interiors are definitely plush, and can be customised to your needs.

For exterior customizations, Autopsyche in Delhi comes to mind.

I think an old M class could be another contender given its tank built quality to weather the modifications.

If you are interested in building a comfortable limo, please ensure that the base car is reliable and has enough power to handle the additional weight of customization. You would not like to have your customized car linger around longer than it takes to service in service centres.

Innova is the ideal platform for such customization. A remap or a tuning box will give it enough horses to counter the additional weight.

Assuming this will not be a self driven vehicle, why not the Force fleets? Travellers are known for its comfort though its a tad bigger compared to the Winger. Even ForceOne is worth checking as it comes in a very good pricing.

Have seen Endevour based and Innova based Limos on road already.

Best part is, they've made a lot of them already and thus, have the required experience for a good job.
It looks like the same one is on sale now. You (OP) may want to check why!

Disagreed. The old M-Class are amongst the most unreliable Mercs you can buy. IMHO, it was one of the shoddiest Benz' ever built and completely undeserving of the three-pointed-star on the hood.

Just to add to GTO, I remember seeing the results of Top Gear survey (2002 ~ 2003) where the Merc ML was consistently one of the least reliable cars along with all the Peugeots.

I'd like to think that if you insist on a bigger vehicle than a Winger, a Force Traveller might be suitable as well. Its totally nonchalant from the outside and the inside can be customized to any degree. Have a look at this thread for pictures.

What a person!!! He used the pictures I uploaded of my CAR!!!

I removed my ad from olx due to low response!! Here's mine on BHP Classifieds!

Its a good comfortable car for long distances, you have a tv, two recliners and privicy from the driver. What else one needs!

Only downside, its a strict two seater!

re: Which Vehicle for Customised Luxurious Interiors?

Don't get mad at him Yash. He was doing you free service. :-)

Well, frankly, i never thought about a used car. But i am very hesitatingly starting to think - may be...as a first.

A 2 seater does not bother me frankly. I am a firm believer that a car is meant for 2 people only along with the mandatory chauffeur, of course. If there are more people, they should travel in another car. It helps you to sit with the most important person in the group so that you can deal with him/her discreetly. Anyhow, one does not want to mingle with the sundries. If its the family, you have other cars anyhow.

Well, if you please, may be we should talk. I would like to know the exact condition of the car. If I decide to go for it, may be it goes to DC again to give it another external job, for which I will pay of course. But frankly again, I would want it absolutely 'cham-cham' from both outside as well as inside, all the while realizing that its a used car and there would be limitations. Exciting thing about this whole affair could be that we will become relatives - not by blood; but by car.

What say?

My contact has been sent to you via PM. In case, you don't mind calling me.

Best regards,
