Please tell me which car you think will be the best from resale value after 5-7 years

My shortlist is:

Toyota Hyryder Hybrid S
Hyundai Verna SV IVT
Brezza
Nexon EV
Sonet

(all in the 15 lakh range)

Hyundai Verna SV IVT - Hyundai is fair but reliability isn't as good as Japanese
Brezza - Probably your best bet
Nexon EV - Battery deg again means you cannot expect much resale value
Sonet - Again, Hyundai's aren't the most reliable and the second hand market tends to know such things.

Hi, Test drive the city once, a long TD will make you understand the city better. Sure its not that stable on the highways but its not too bad. It remains stable till 110. You can comfortably get a city VX CVT for that price and the V variant is VFM too. For city drives,
its an absolute delight.

If your primary requirement is highway drives with occasional drives with 5 people on board, slavia 1.0 ambition AT is the way to go. I wouldn't recommend the Virtus, though the Virtus is a good car, misses some features compared to slavia, especially AUTO AC in that price bracket.

Summary-

City drives, Comfort, mileage - City CVT
Highway drives, sporty dynamics, better interiors ( in terms of dashboard design )- Slavia.

Purely resale? Brezza. I was in a similar dilemma and went with Sonet D AT, absolutely lovely to drive. Resale value should hold up and is reliable with the tried and tested Hyundai-Kia 1.5 VGT Diesel engine.
