i am willing to go for k10 only thinking about the price difference between k10 and 800. Is it better to go for k10 by paying extra rs 60000 or should I stick to Alto 800? Which one would be better VFM?

Thanks.
I have a 2021 Alto VXI, driven 16000 km in about 2 years of ownership. You can NEVER go wrong with Alto. It can easily do 70-80 kmph all day long and more. It is so much easy on pocket to own, maintain and very much fun to drive in city limits given its footprint. This car is like true fill, shut, forget car than anything else sold now. But mileage point the truth is I get ~13 kmpl in mixed city conditions with frequent start stops. But at this point I will recommend you to look at K10 just for the claimed better mileage over K10, better rear footwell space. You can even look at SPresso for the extra 200cc and extra GC. But budget won't permit you? Don't worry man, just go get one Alto eyes closed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but for new drivers it is better to go with K10 as it is bit more powerful.

Hi, I'm a new driver, and I find the Alto rather comfortable to drive. More so than Swift, from which the engine/front part of the vehicle is not fully visible. As a beginner and someone who exclusively rode multiple 2 wheelers( at 250cc to 600cc range), I like the small footprint of Alto and the visibility it provides. The main reason why one would/should opt for K10 is size. Alto 800 is small. Two 6 foot adults cannot fit front and back. The leg room is too little for that. The newer K10 models seem to have a lot more leg room, though I'm not sure if two big adults would fit.
