Upgrading from an X1 | BMW M340i vs X3 M40i vs X5 40i

Hello Team-BHP community,

I currently own a 2017 BMW 320d (stage 1 tuned) with approximately 30,000 km on the odometer, as well as a 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace with a similar mileage. Both cars have been enjoyable, but I'm feeling the urge to upgrade to a higher performance vehicle.

My considerations are currently focused on a few options: the BMW M340i, the BMW X3 M40i (though it seems to be out of stock so might have to drop), and the Volvo C40 recharge . I recently test drove the M340i and was thoroughly impressed, but I have concerns about its daily usability due to its low ground clearance and stiff ride. I haven't yet driven the Volvo c40 recharge (doing so tomorrow) but on paper seems to offer comparable or even superior performance to the M340i while being more practical.

I have never owned an electric vehicle (EV), and the C40 presents an opportunity to explore this new driving experience. I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice from the community, especially from those who have experience with these models or who have transitioned from conventional to electric vehicles.

If you are looking for 4 doors specifically, nothing beats the X5 40i but if you are not inclined towards 4 doors and a big vehicle, get a Z4 m40i, it has the B58, it has the options of very pretty colors like the midnight purple

and its a RWD!! BMW also released the manual version of it recently
