The 2023 Honda City is available in four variants: V, VX, ZX and a new entry-level trim called SV. The City Hybrid also gets a new entry-level ‘V’ trim.
Honda has announced the launch of the 2023 City facelift, with prices ranging from Rs 11.49 lakh to Rs 20.39 lakh for the top-spec City e:HEV.
The 2023 Honda City comes with several exterior and interior updates. These include a new front grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler and new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Honda has also introduced a new colour option called Obsidian Blue Pearl.
The 2023 City gets a two-tone Beige and Black interior, while the City Hybrid gets a two-tone Ivory and Black interior theme. The car is now equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an updated infotainment system, an improved rearview camera, a wireless charger, rain-sensing wipers, an electric sunroof and ambient lighting.
The City e:HEV gets a revised instrument panel with a carbon fibre pattern, piano black AC vent surrounds and piano black steering wheel garnish.

Crucially, the car is now offered with an ADAS suite, which includes features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow function, Lead Car Departure Notification System, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Lane Keep Assist and Auto High-Beam.
The 2023 Honda City uses an RDE-compliant 1.5-litre petrol engine that develops 119 BHP @ 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm @ 4,300 rpm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT.
The City e:HEV gets two electric motors that work in conjunction with the 1.5-litre petrol engine. The system has a combined output of 124 BHP and 253 Nm and is paired with an e-CVT.
While the petrol City is said to deliver a fuel efficiency of 17.8-18.4 km/l, Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 27.13 km/l for the City Hybrid.
