2024 Triumph Tiger 900 range launched at Rs 13.95 lakh

The Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro compete with the BMW 850GS, Honda Africa Twin and the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE.

Triumph India has launched the Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro priced at Rs 13.95 lakh and Rs 15.95 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Both variants of the Tiger 900 get several updates for the 2024 model year. The ADV gets redesigned bodywork for better heat dissipation, a longer beak and a revised exhaust system. Triumph has also reworked the ergonomics of the bike. It now gets a repositioned handlebar, a new seat cushion and an instrument console.

The Tiger 900 is powered by an 888cc 3-cylinder engine that produces 106.5 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 90 Nm @ 6,850 rpm. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch. A quick-shifter has been provided on the Rally Pro variant.

Speaking of which, the Rally Pro variant has 6 riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, Rider Configurable, Off-Road and Off-Road Pro. The bike also gets illuminated switches, TPMS, a centre stand and an engine bash plate.

The Tiger 900 GT rides on an adjustable 45 mm USD Marzocchi fork and a Marzocchi mono-shock at the rear. It is fitted with 19-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels at the front and rear respectively.

The Rally Pro gets a Showa 45 mm USD front forks and mono-shock at the rear with 240 mm and 230 mm of wheel travel, respectively. It rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in off-road biased tyres.
