Benelli Leoncino 500 launched at Rs. 4.79 lakh

Benelli has launched the Leoncino 500 in India. It is priced at Rs. 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Leoncino is a scrambler-styled motorcycle. It measures 2,160 mm in length, 875 mm in width, 1,160 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,460 mm. The bike comes with 13.5 litre fuel tank.

The Leoncino 500 has a circular LED headlamp and a dual tone front fender with a ‘Lion of Pesaro’ emblem at the leading edge. The fuel tank has black trim with the Benelli logo on the sides. It has a flat seat and a side-mounted exhaust. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are shod with 120/70-ZR17 and 160/60-ZR17 tyres at the front and rear respectively.

The Leoncino 500 is powered by a 500cc, 2-cylinder engine that produces 47 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 46 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. 

The bike rides on 50 mm inverted telescopic fork suspension at the front and employs a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by twin-320 mm discs with 4-piston calipers at the front and a 260 mm disc at the rear with a single piston caliper. It comes with dual-channel ABS.

The Benelli Leoncino 500 is available in two colour options - Steel Gray and Leoncino Red.
