Scoop! MG Hector facelift starts reaching dealerships

The Hector facelift gets updated exterior and interior as well as 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

The MG Hector facelift has been spotted at a dealership.

As part of the update, the Hector gets a redesigned front grille that has chrome inserts and a reworked rear fascia which gets a black garnish instead of the red strip. The new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels look neat and are a welcome addition. Note that the car seen in these images has a dual-tone exterior.

The Hector facelift also gets a dual-tone interior just like the Hector Plus. The SUV is expected to get new features including an auto dimming IRVM.

The MG Hector facelift is likely to be offered with the same set of engines as the current car. These include a 168 BHP 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 141 BHP and 250 Nm mated to 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
