The first images of the Toyota Innova Crysta CNG have surfaced online. The car was spotted in Gurgaon.
The test car looks identical to the regular Innova Crysta. It has a CNG window sticker and the badging suggests that it has a 2.7-litre, petrol engine under the bonnet. Toyota could offer the CNG option in G trim.
The BS6 compliant 2.7-litre petrol engine produces 164 BHP @ 5,200 rpm and 245 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The CNG variant could use the 5-speed manual gearbox. When running on CNG, the engine output is expected to be slightly lower.
