Toyota Innova Hycross to get new entry-level variants

The fleet version will come in three variants: base VX and ZX in 7-seater or 8-seater configurations.

According to a media report, Toyota is set to introduce new entry-level variants of the Innova Hycross. It is said that both the petrol and hybrid versions of the MPV will get new base trims.

The report states that in addition to the Innova Crysta, Toyota plans to offer the Hycross to fleet operators. The fleet version will come in three variants: base VX and ZX in 7-seater or 8-seater configurations.

Meanwhile, private buyers will be able to choose from five trims: G, GX, VX, ZX, and ZX (O), with additional base variants being added for both engines.

The Innova Hycross is available with a pure petrol and petrol-hybrid powertrain. The 2.0-litre petrol puts out 172 BHP and 197 Nm. The strong-hybrid version also uses a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with Toyota’s 5th-gen strong-hybrid tech for a combined output of 183 BHP. Both engines are offered with a CVT that drives the front axle.
