cool

Hi chanu,
the bike looks awesome. Can you indicate the cost that you incurred for the mods.

Also, how much time did you take. was there any performance mods also applied?

Hi deepikins welcome to the forum.

The cost involved right from the start:

Paint 3500/-
Chrome plating, buffing etc 4000/- (which was discounted to 3200/-by the shop owner as he knows me well)
Wiring (hand made by a very popular guy here 800/- again discounted and apart from the switches etc)
No major engine work its just reassembling 4000/-
Parts including tyres 8500/-
Silencer the new retro type the curved one 300 (for labour)

Time frame you guys might not believe 1 week including delivery on sunday afternoon without me skipping my office its just over the phone. My bro is happy with the outcome.

Let me introduce to my younger brother's and our 62 royal enfield, which he enjoys riding around. It still needs few minute details (smiths meter, brass oil cover and few brass nuts) to be adorned, search is still on... I am looking for a 1962 owners or service manual can any one help me. Once complete this fella would also be repainted and restored complete.

no offense to anyone.

Either post the pics of only Bullet or, if posting with rider- do not deface him/her. It looks like guys wearing burqa and riding bullet- a big eyesore. If you do not want to be identified, don't post your pic with the Bullet. Simple.

when we post picutres of the bikes sometimes we find the owners or some one who is riding/driving it & they may not feel comfortable showing their picture, what matters is the vehicle you cannot ask them to get down or you may not find chance to get the picture without them. Privacy matters.

but @chanu: you said it was your brother ? No offense, but i agree with @bj96 Also is the case with your own bike, the details we like to see are missing because someone is sitting on the bike

Please post some pics without riders so that we can admire the beauty of the beast

PS : The job of restoration is good
