Default Phase2 Jeep tinkering complete

Hi All,

Yesterday Jeep tinkering work got completed and have given the vehical for painting.
Work done on Jeep:
1. Front fenders were changed to round type.
2. Patch work on Windscreen.
3. Front Right and Left panels were replaced.
4. Siccssor top was fixed.
5. Original Willys bonet was fixed.
6. Small bents were removed from Front and Back Chassis frame.
7. Tool box tinkering work.
8. D Clamps to front bumper
9. Stepny shifted to Right side.
10. Jerry can on back door.
11.Steering wheel with three spikes.

Default few updates

Hi All,

Got my trailer.Jeep is under painting. So far old paint has been removed and putty and metal paste has been applied. Underbody,Frame and body painting will be completed by this weekend. Attached are few pics.

Default Restoration at final stage

Hi All,

My CJ3B's restoration is almost complete. Two items pending are
a. Replacing stearing wheel with original 3 spikes wheel
b. Fixing knob type backoutlight switch.

Target date for completion is on 16th March.I have posted few snaps.

That is a amazing transformation. Which town in coorg area is this garage situated? Is this suntikoppa?

PS - The seats need to be swapped. 1 person on the left side, the 2 seater on the other... Or is there a problem in doing it?

Kurumbaiah, you said your Jeep was a 4WD. I cant see the four wheel drive gear levers.

Whats up, you got it this way or have disconnected the 4WD? I can see the front differential present, so whats the hiccup here?

You have got an amazing 3b. Nice restoration! Looks great. Can we have pics of it on day light?

@Jaggu- Those are jeep rims only. Later model Majors, commanders and MM540's all came with holes on rim. Swifts rim is 14 inch, not 16.

@Karumbaiah is there anything wrong with the front cross member? It doesn't look straight, also the angle made by the shock absorber looks different. What are those 4 bolts seen on the floor panel?

The cross member in earlier cj were never straight,they were inclined downwards from both the ends.Nice 3b mate.
