Default Advanced Installation technique - mounting tweeters

Dear All,

These pictures are for advanced car audio DIY guys and for car audio installers.

I hope you try it out yourself, or learn how to do it so you can teach your installer. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions about this installation technique..
Enjoy

Thanks to Gary Briggs and Andy Wehrmayer.

kb it is a body filler used to make the surface of the body when our car goes for denting painting. It has two componets one is the filler and the other is the hardener. When both mix will give us the mixture ready to use. Beware if the hardener is added more the mixture will get solidfiy very fast so if one does a DIY he must practice a bit before using......All this stuff can be got from a good car paint or hardware shop.... the last two thing used are the paint and the shiner......

These are spray cans of paint baba. One is textured paint and the other is Regular spray paint. You can buy these cans at any good auto paints shop.

I didn't put any text because i thought it was obvious.

Yesssssssssss!!!
Very very good explanation. It's of no reason that you're entitled for SIRji.

Great work. Will try and do it in my upcoming install!

Thanks Sam (I skipped ahead to the final step right away, hehe)

Only think I fear is that tweets installed here might not agree with me as my ears are very sensitive to highs and I just cannot handle the shine. BUT im tempted to do this. The 606ce awaits installation

The price you pay for using this technique is that I'd like to see pictures of the job right here on this thread.

Souljah, I dont like too much highs too. However i am very satisfied with that position. Navin has techniques on modding crossovers or better, do what i do

Drop the treble down to -3 or -4. Sounds lovely

ya when the tweeter is on the dash or in the above location it should be down when compared to the midbass as to much treble makes the sound sharp and hurts ones in ones ear.....but when it is installed i the kick pod it will not be so upfront also will be close to the midbass this is also a perferd location...

Sweet!

Unfortunately I think I have one of those mirror adjusting stalks sticking out of that panel. But that's a very clever technique.

JK, this cannot be done with cars where there is a little lever to adjust the mirror. However in the case of a powered mirror, if the inner panel of the tweeter can be removed and is clear behind (like for example the lancers with power windows) then yes, why not.
