Default Re: The Nokia Communicator Thread. The E7 Is Here!!

Got my E 7 yesterday for 28700/-. Setting up. Almost complete. Hung thrice in the process.

Everytime I'm accessing the net for some services, it chooses my AirTel 3G connection ignoring my home Wi-Fi, though the access point is defined. The earlier E 90 used to give an option.

I've updated the Device Software, Maps, synced my contacts, messages & calendar. Anything else do I need to do? And are their any exotic apps like compass, weather, latitude etc., that are available?

How do I activate Google Latitude on my E 7? The version of Google Maps that I downloaded for this model doesn't give me an option for Latitude

Happened to stumble on this thread. Wow I miss these phones! Nokia messed up big time (read Stephen Elop). Maemo/Meego was budding in its initial stages and had huge potential. I had both the N900 and then the N9 (got it from UAE). Hoping to see Nokia back in action.

E7 was an amazing phone! I miss that phone! Probably one of the best phone that I have used.

Wish Nokia did not mess up and I would still be a Loyal customer of Nokia!
