Swift VDI - Go or No Go?

Hello Gentlemen

After thoroughly researching through this forum as well as taking some expert advise, im about to finalize on picking up a swift VDI as my next car. Currently i own a ford ikon 1.3 which has served me well over the years and im looking at a car to replace my current one. I have heard both good as well as bad things about the car and hence im narrowing down by queries to the following questions.

- I have read about the rattling issues with Swift, just wanted to know if the latest bunch of ones (2008) are having the same issue too. This is something that im very averse too and hence this query upfront.
- How is the braking performance of the Non-ABS version?, I would like to go in for ABS anyday, but unfortunately the huge waiting period (3 months) for ABS model is putting me off.
- I dont greatly appreciate the NVH levels in the Ikon and im very particular about the NVH levels on Swift VDI.

If someone of you can shed some light for my queries noted above, i would then proceed forward with the purchasing process. Please enlighten me if i have missed on any other critical points that may be applicable. Im aware the swift sedan is in the pipleline, but my usage at this juncture doesnt warrant a boot (I use the boot in my Ikon to house the sub woofer only!!) and hence decided to stay away from it.
