I normally need about three tankfuls (about Rs.2200-2500 each) for my Santro (now Brio) and Civic, when I am staying in Kanpur. Lucknow trips (once every two months or so) add another 1500 to that.

I spend about Rs.4000 for a travel of 1000km per month with my Accent-LPG.

Spend about 6-7k for my Cedia (~1000 km a month) and another 1.5k-2k in my wife's Nano (about 700-800 km a month).

The RE TBTS takes 3 tankfulls per month - Rs. 3500/-
The Fabia takes 1.5 tankfulls per month - Rs. 5500/-

Geez ! And all this while I thought I had a hole in my wallet.

I am not sure when I had replied earlier.

Now the equation has changed.

My daily total travel is 54 km. Monthly running is 1500 to 1600 including weekend. I need 2 tank full and a lil below qtr. with average FE of 15.XX.

Total I spend little above 5000/-

~5700 per month on my only vehicle, Fabia 1.4 Petrol. Only city running for work and personal errands.

About a tank and a half for one month in my Sx4 Celebration Diesel, so translates to somewhere around Rs. 3000 per month with an avg of about 15 kmpl.

Oh and since Sx4 neither has a DTE or a low fuel warning

i usually fill up by my own estimates, most tankfulls are done in 38-40 ltrs.

A very welcome decrease from my Petrol car days when i used to fill up for nearly twice the figure i do now.

Rs.4200/- for 1200 kms per month on my Fiesta Classic TDCi @3.5 rs/km.

My Average till now on my Fiesta is hardly 14 kmpl in 13000 kms. And the stupid Ford is claiming 32 kmpl WTH.

For the very same route, I used to get 18kmpl for my Swift DDiS till Feb 2012.

So this means I am loosing 850rs per month since I shifted from the Super engined Swift Diesel to the 'sedan' Fiesta Classic.

I spend about Rs 5000 for 900- 1000 kms per month on diesel.
I drive my UNO D and PUNTO MJD on alternate days.

Used to be 4k on my Skoda Octy. Has now jumped to 8k on my .. well Skoda Octy. No change in my average driving distance. Still do around 1200 kms per month. Just changed from a 1.9 TDI Octavia to a 1.8 TSI Octavia RS.

used to be ~2000 per month for my BulLet Electra. Now after I bought a car (and after I got married) , the equation has changed.

3200 pm for i20 Crdi :(
~300 pm for my Bull. :((

My esteem LX (LPG) used to be very economical

Now, with i10 (Blue Drive) it has gone up

i10 - 3000 per month
Pulsar 180 - 1500 per month

I drive a Ford Figo in Goa. I cover about 2000 - 2300 km a month can consume 120 - 150 litres of Diesel a month.
My average monthly fuel expenditure is about 6500.

My ride is a 5 month old K10 and I burn roundabout 3.5k a month. Mind you this is the monthly average and I have done 2 big (read 500k+ round trips) which would have hogged most of the outlay.

Most of my commuting is done via the office shuttle and my trusted Activa which guzzles down close to another 1 k a month
