Saw one in S.Korea

I saw a red i30 yesterday on roads in Suwon, S.Korea! It was really good to look at and had a good road presence. IMHO, it was bigger than the Getz. The car vanished before I could pick up my camera phone

However, I did capture some photos of other cars [like the earlier generation SRV, Optra (called Lacetti here), - Will post them real soon.

Hyundai are doing a la maruti here with a slew of models in the B/B+ segment which is a good thing for us customers! The more, the merrier!

i feel that when this is launched here in india, santro will be discontinued and this will be priced at that range and the current pricing for gets will be given to the next I 20.. this is just my view.

If looked at logically, the Getz - altho a capable car in its own right, stands a good chance of getting axed when the i20 comes along. It has no atrributes that Hyundai would find endearing enough to justify selling it side-by-side with a similarly priced i20:

1. It doesnt sell much, the facelifted versions have only met with limited success
2. No brand recall for the Getz
3. The Swift problem.

Examples of earlier models retained alongside new models all have 1 common trait - they're amongst the top sellers in their respective segments.
