One of the main reasons behind the petrol Indicas failure is actually the minimal price difference between the diesel and petrol versions. Unlike other manufacturers (atleast a lac or more). No one buys an Indica for driving pleasure or refinement, and if you get phenomenal economy for only a couple of thousand more...why not?

Yeah GTO ,

i guess this was the same reason the skoda petrol 2.0 failed to take off - it was priced the same as the 1.9TDi on launch and got blown away by the awesome diesel !

Rudraji,

what i said was right cause we never met when i had the santro , so the way i drive the ikon is a 90 % sobered down version of the way i drove the santro.
