Palio 1.2 NV - Ownership Report - 11000 kms - Page 2 - Team-BHP

Hi There,

I have a 1.2 NV and constantly get between 11-12 kpl 100% a/c in pune city. Last week had been to Mumbai and back and she returned 17.5 kpl with 100% a/c and 4 adults ( 80-90 kph).

This is as good as any other car in this range. Expect a little lower for the 1.6 .

Low mileage is a myth and sadly Fiat is not doing anything to counter this.

hence thinking of Wagon R LPG which will be good on FE and comes for 4.06L.

But I still luv the Palio.

Hi Icemanz, with Palio 1.6, you can expect a mileage of 9 - 12 kmpl in City and 14 - 18 kmpl on Highways. A lot depends on the driving style. Go get this 1.6 Beast, you will never regret it!.

Hi

Can anybody post the picture of the engine bay of a Palio 1.2 NV. I'd like to check if there is any difference between 2001-2002 models and NV models. One of my friend told me that the petrol and AC tube routing is different in pre 2002 and NV models.

i very well understand what all you say , because even i own a Palio...

you are right..

1.6 is perfomance oriented.
more over i drive S10..

it has got slight different gear ratio when compared to others...

It s meant for perfomance not Milege.

Nice review Finney! Drop in a K&N and see the 1.2 fly! With a light foot, you're even likely to improve the mileage. In the city, I'm getting 10kmpl with 205 section tyres, 100% A/C, a K&N and a medium to heavy foot on the pedal. Palio 1.2, BTW.
