which is the best looking wheel caps for swift lxi? if possible post the pictures.....and pointers as to where in b'lore can i buy them?

Wheel caps???

Sri..I think you need to get Alloys on your Swift..

By the way if you really need to get wheel caps..nothing great than what the Company provides..Those aftermarket ones look cheap..and can get your car in The Wierd and wacky thread

long time back before getting alloys on my m800 i use to have after market hub caps\wheel covers on the wheels

and they use to constantly fall of and use to rattle alot

i suggest you don't go in for after market wheel cups if you can get get some good alloys

The OE ones which comes with swift Vxi will look good compared to other cheap looking after market wheel caps and you can get the OE design wheel caps for the same cost as that of other after market wheel caps...

@dineshvenu: Swift wheel caps are press fitted.

Its better you get the wheel caps which Maruti provides with the VXi.
They would suit the car a lot better than the after market ones.

If you have the money, go for alloys.
Take a look at this swift which belongs to our member nikhunj_cal. This is a LDi with alloys.

Look out for someone who have upgraded the stock wheel caps to Alloys for VXi/VDi. There are many members who have upgraded and I am sure there is a thread existing on this, though i cannot find the link. You might end getting a set of 4 free.

IMO VXi wheelcaps may not look that good on LXi. The VXi wheel rims are painted black in order to highlight the wheelcover design. LXi wheel rims being silver coloured (which is also the colour of the wheelcaps), the fitment wouldn't create as good an effect.

LXi rims look decent without wheelcovers. So why go in for them?
Best of course is the alloy wheel option but then you'll need to change the tyres too for best results.

IMO, wheel caps look good ONLY if the rims are painted BLACK. Its not much of effort to do that.

The After-market wheel caps are not a bad idea. There are lots & lots of beautiful designs.
